Dr. Westbrook completed the MD/PhD program at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2019 and completed residency and fellowship in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry at UPMC’s Western Psychiatric Hospital in 2024. She is presently a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh with mentorship from Dr. Cecile Ladouceur. Dr. Westbrook's research interests are investigating development of internalizing (depressive and anxiety) disorders in early adolescence and their relationship to puberty using fMRI, computational and psychometric methods.
